The Re-Quip Foundation event will dive deeper into our circular initiative within the (offshore) energy sector, focusing on sustainable equipment design, use, and re-use. Hosted by journalist Roy op het Veld, the session will feature interesting discussions, interviews, and a Q&A opportunity with sustainability and circularity experts.

This event is aimed at sharing our ambitions towards driving more sustainable and circular approaches to equipment design, use, and re-use in the offshore energy sector. With different interesting pitches on sustainability topics, we will dive deeper into the opportunities and importance of circular ways of working.

Come and listen to our keynote speaker Derk-Jan van Heerden, Aviation Expert and Founder & Board Member of Aethos, who shares his lessons from the aviation industry. With Aethos, and in former roles as Founder/former CEO of AELS and former Board Member/President Aircraft Fleet Recycling Association (AFRA), Derk-Jan is part of a mission to optimize the recycling of the materials in aircrafts that reach end-of-life.

Additionally, interesting talks from Nina Vielen-Kallio (ECHT), David Molenaar (X seventy-one), Sylvia Boer (Maritime Sisters), Jan Vos (NedZero), Michiel Kraak (CCM), Nimmi Sreekumar (TWD) and Daniรซl Biegel (Heerema) will be given.

Our founding initiators Breman Machinery B.V., Eager.one, ECHT regie in transitie, Iv, KenzFigee, MeeMaken, TWD, Van Oord, as well as our founding supporters AE-WaveHexapod, HYDAC B.V., Mammoet, Van Bodegraven Elektromotoren B.V. and our supporting associations AYOP (Offshore Energy Association), Holland Home of Wind Energy, IRO – The Association of Dutch Suppliers in the Offshore Energy Industry, iTanks & NedZero – Branchevereniging voor windenergie are looking forward to seeing you in Rotterdam!
