On Wednesday, November 12th, we kicked off our second public event, hosted at the office of Van Oord in Gorinchem! Together with our supporting companies, associations, media partners, and other industry professionals, we engaged in insightful discussions about key sector challenges.

With a warm welcome by Sander Korving (Director Procurement & Supply Chain Management on behalf of our host Van Oord) and by moderator David Molenaar, a keynote presentation by the Circular Hero of 2025, John Vernooij, an inspiring panel discussion featuring Ruud Muis (chairman & owner of Aegir-Marine), Marcella Croes-Schalken (CCO of Modern American Recycling Services), and Tonny Wormer (co-Founder of Blade-Made and owner of New Citizen Design), as well as an interactive workshop by Omdenken, we explored how collaboration and circular innovation can strengthen and create lasting value across our industries.
